About Me

My identity is a blend: half rooted in the East, from my upbringing in Chengdu, China to my spiritual practices in Zen and Vajrayana Buddhist meditation. Half anchored in the West: having earned a PhD in economics from MIT and conducted extensive research in academia, focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, and productivity. These dichotomies once created conflicting contrasts within me, but I've grown to appreciate the diverse viewpoints they have offered, leading me to a broad spectrum of experiences.

I am curious about all aspects of the world. As an academic, I experienced the thrill of intellectual discovery, yet I also grappled with persistent skepticism, doubts, and mental and physical exhaustion. In my search for balance, I explored and studied the intuitive arts, which offered a refreshing lens through which to view the world as a dynamic, energetic entity, as opposed to a static one. This new perspective has deepened my spiritual practices, where I experienced fluid states of consciousness characterized by pure awareness. Consequently, I've come to see that truth is not a rigid or fixated understanding of the world but a state of openness toward the ever-changing present. This philosophy guides my work and informs the way I live my life.

Equity, honesty, and integrity are the most important parts of my professional ethos, guiding all my interactions. I believe that our inner state drives all external changes.

In my spare time, I find inspiration in nature, travel, films, and writing.
